How cancellations, amendments and refunds are managed.

1. Our Commitment
We understand that plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations, amendments and refunds are managed for bookings made with Lough Ree Tours.
2. Public Sightseeing Cruises
Bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. Cancellations received within 48 hours of departure are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for missed departures or no-shows.
3. Whiskey Tasting Cruises
Bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before departure. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable. Guests must be over 18 years of age to participate in the whiskey tasting.
4. Private Charters
A booking deposit secures your private charter. Deposit and payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. Cancellations made within the agreed cancellation period may result in the loss of the deposit or other charges, depending on the stage of planning and services already provided.
5. Dedicated Event Host
Dedicated Event Host services are individually quoted. Where planning or coordination work has commenced, cancellation charges may apply. Any applicable charges will be detailed within the individual quotation.
6. Weather & Operational Cancellations
If Lough Ree Tours cancels a sailing due to adverse weather, safety concerns or operational reasons, customers will be offered either a full refund or the opportunity to transfer their booking to an alternative available date.
7. Booking Amendments
Where possible, we will do our best to accommodate requests to change booking dates or times. Amendments are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
8. Gift Vouchers
Where a booking has been paid for using a gift voucher, any approved refund will normally be returned to the original gift voucher balance rather than paid in cash.
9. Force Majeure
Lough Ree Tours shall not be liable for delays, cancellations or alterations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.
